相見時難別亦難,在現職公司離開前,少不了要向同事感謝和道別,有些熟稔的同事或許更希望保持聯絡。很多人未必懂得寫一封得體大方的Farewell email,從今日起,別再Copy那封萬年Thank you email,學習為不同的人致上謝意吧!

給予直屬上司

給直屬上司的Farewell email,緊記表達你的感謝,並希望日後與他們繼續聯繫。你可以嘗試加入以下的句子:

Before setting off on the next chapter of my career journey, I wanted to reach out to you and let you know how great it's been to work with you here.

假如你曾經與他們共同完成了一些不錯的項目,也可以在電郵中提出,讓你的感謝並不流於表面,藉此也加深他們對你的良好印象。

I really enjoyed collaborating with you on [project or task], and I've learned so much from the way you [skill or thing]. This has been such a valuable career experience, and I know that I have leaders like you to thank for that.

你的上司手持的資源和人脈都比你多,要是希望上司將來給你意想不到的發展機會,不妨留下你的聯絡方法。

I prefer to think of this as ''See you later'' instead of ''Goodbye.'' So, please don't hesitate to reach out to me at [personal email address] if you'd ever like to get in touch.

給予相熟同事

在辦公室之中認識到同事朋友,實在難得。在Farewell email中的措詞可以親密一點、隨意一點,甚至可以直接邀約他們下次飯聚的時間。

雖然有新工作很興奮,但內容也要顧及一點對方的感受。向他們表示不捨之情時,可以參考以下寫法。

While I'm excited about the new opportunity, there's also a big part of me that's sad to be saying goodbye to amazing co-workers just like you.

你還可以加上你們已共事了多少光陰,又或者平日開玩笑的笑料,這點回憶也非常珍貴呢!

I can't tell you how much I value the friendship you've shown me over the past [x years]. You made me look forward to coming into the office, and I'll always remember [funny moment or inside joke].

告訴他們,雖然你的身體離開了同一間公司,但有需要時還是可以出來大吐苦水!

You have my number—so don't hesitate to reach out when you want to grab drinks, and I'll be sure to do the same!
